Reports in the Italian Press yesterday evening have claimed that Barcelona midfielder Alex Song could be off to Napoli in January.
Sport Mediaset have claimed that the Partenopei are close to agreeing a deal with the Spanish giants that will see the Cameroon international sign.
However, the television station has insisted that the move will only be a loan deal, with Song going back to Camp Nou in June.
The former Arsenal man has failed to establish himself in Tata Martino’s XI this season, failing to break the Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta triumvirate.
As such, the Catalan club will allow Song to leave for regular first team football, welcoming him back in the summer.
